Hi Reader,
After two weeks in Staunton, VA, with my new team at the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund, I'm already packing my bags again to attend Dazzle Camp in the mountains of Georgia!
For more than a year, I've led the storytelling charge at Zebras Unite. I've interviewed more than 25 fellow founding members, chapter leads and co-op members - and along the way my ideas about the future of our economy and society have shifted. As I'm winding down my storytelling efforts for Zebras Unite, I had the chance to reflect on everything I've learned over the last 12 months in my personal interview. With myself. It's weird, I know. Check it out!
Showing up with purposeDarlisa Diltz talks about fighting the uphill battle of supporting early-stage entrepreneurs when other major players just aren't on the same page.

Economic Developer AND Ecosystem BuilderDid I just hear you gasp? Then you'll love this conversation with Christina Oldfather who talks about her economic development role in Lincoln, Nebraska!

I have a bunch of resources and events on my radar that I think you would love! Check them out here:
- The Path to Moral Leadership: a free 9-week online course based on Jacqueline Novogratz's book Manifesto for a Moral Revolution which I loved. I took the online course last year and highly recommend it!
- 9 February: Design Principles for Systems Change: Equitable
- I've been devouring FLUX: 8 superpowers for thriving in constant change by April Rinne! With a bit of luck, you'll meet this incredible human being on season 2 of Ecosystems for Change and until then, you can see her live and in color on International Women's Day at a Fireside Chat we're hosting for Zebras Unite!
- This podcast episode and essay by Tara McMullin was a real gut punch for anyone who considers themselves part of the Creator Community (which I do).
