To quit or not to quit

Published 11 months ago • 3 min read

Hello Reader,

Welcome back to another issue of Impact Curator!

I am so happy to pop into your inbox with the last two episodes of season 5 and other news from the field!

Throughout this season I confirmed the hunch I had in the beginning: Quitting is just part of the game.

What I learned more about are when and how to move on:

All six guests shared their stories of turbulence, evolution and new chapters. Here's what I learned:

  1. Ecosystem builders quit because they run out of both, the internal and external resources to keep going.
  2. Ecosystem builders often find new ways to keep building community and connections.
  3. Quitting can be temporary.
  4. HOW you quit matters a great deal.

In my final interview of the season, I sat down with Naomi Ryland (TWICE!) to talk about her wild journey as a social entrepreneur in Germany and found out what the alternative to quitting might look like. In episode eight, I share my key insights and a long list of resources that we gathered throughout this season.

I come across a lot of resources that I think every ecosystem builder should get their hands on. While I share them far and wide on many channels (mostly LinkedIn & Instagram), I love curating a list of the best insights, opportunities and resources for you:

You can now browse the full list of season 5 resources.

More Jobs

Mark your calendars!

I'll be back in your inbox in two weeks with my next in-between-seasons update from the field (logbook #6) and I can't wait to introduce you to the first three Unsung Heroes of Ecosystem Building!

In camaraderie,

Anika
